Item: Original 1980s hand knit jumper in a rich red base with cream and grey Fair Isle style patterning, finished with a short button neck and chunky ribbed trims. A warm, easy-wearing knit with a classic slightly boxy cut, giving it that relaxed everyday shape people want from vintage winter knitwear.

Condition: Good vintage condition with honest wear consistent with age and use. There is a mark to the hem and one arm, and this has been reflected in the price. Otherwise presents well overall with strong colour, good texture and plenty of life left in it.

Provenance Note: Hand knit pieces always have extra charm because they carry a bit more individuality than standard production knitwear. This one has a strong traditional pattern, a great colour combination and that properly cosy 1980s feel, making it an easy winter piece with real character.
