Description:

Item: Wool blend jumper made in Italy, in a brown base with fair isle style diamond patterning in navy, rust, olive and lilac. Crew neck with ribbed hem and cuffs.

Era: 1980s

Condition: Very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and use.

Provenance Note: The banded diamond pattern runs consistently across the whole piece, with each row picking out a slightly different combination from the navy, rust, olive and lilac palette. It's a genuinely detailed piece of knitwear, made in Italy, with the kind of dense, repeating fair isle work that takes real skill to produce. A warm, richly patterned jumper with plenty going on close up.
