Provenance Note: The date code on these puts manufacture at January 1985, which places them firmly in the earlier part of the Made in USA run — and the deep indigo bears that out. The colour has held remarkably well, sitting at the darker, less-faded end of what you typically find from this era. Early-80s American-made 501s with a datable manufacture are a specific thing for collectors, and this pair represents them well.
