Item: A hooded windbreaker by Marcel Clair in a bold colour block of royal blue, purple and black - large geometric panels dividing the body, sleeves and collar in a graphic, high-contrast arrangement. Full-length zip front with a drawstring hood and a embroidered skydiving badge on the left chest - a rainbow parachute motif that adds a playful, period-perfect flourish. Lightly lined and lightweight - a vivid, characterful piece.

Provenance Note: The colour block windbreaker was ubiquitous across European and American casual and sportswear through the late 1980s - bold geometric panelling in high-contrast colourways was the visual language of the decade's activewear, crossing freely between ski slopes, running tracks and city streets. The embroidered skydiving badge is a nice period detail, tapping into the decade's appetite for extreme sport graphics and outdoor adventure branding.
