Item: Original 1980s Papell Boutique printed jacket in a striking black, gold, white and royal blue colourway with an ornate baroque and pocket-watch design. Zip-front style with a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem, and a relaxed boxy cut that gives it that strong late-1980s silhouette. Polyester outer with a smooth, light finish that carries the print brilliantly. Older polyester like this, especially from the 1960s through the 1980s, was made as a durable, premium fabric designed to hold colour and structure well, which is exactly why pieces like this still present so strongly decades later.
