Description:

Item: Polyester blend blazer with an all-over abstract print, single-button front, notched lapels, welt hip pockets and full lining. Boxy, roomy cut with dropped shoulders and set-in sleeves.

Condition: Very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and use.

Provenance Note: A blazer printed on a textured cream ground with loose painterly shapes in red, blue, magenta, ochre and green, drawn as brushed blocks and fine ink lines with small circles and triangular bands worked between them. The print runs across the body, sleeves and lapels without a break. Notched lapels sit open at the chest above a single pale button, and welt pockets are set at the hips. The cut is boxy and roomy with dropped shoulders, giving it an easy line over a top or dress.
