Provenance Note: The colour block track top was one of the defining casual garments of 1980s European sportswear - bold horizontal panelling and contrast sleeve stripes drawn directly from the athletic wear of the decade, worn as much on the street as the track. The teal, navy and purple combination is a particularly strong palette of the era, sitting at the heart of the decade's approach to sportswear colour - vivid without being garish, and very wearable today.
