Description:

Item: A 1980s wool blend jumper, patterned in a repeating Fair Isle sequence across green, navy, coral and tan. Bands of small floral and geometric motifs run the full width of the body, framed above and below by wider patterned panels in a lighter green. Finished with a ribbed crew neck, long sleeves and ribbed cuffs and hem.

Era: 1980s

Condition: Very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and use.

Provenance Note: The colour combination is what sets this one apart, coral and tan running through the more traditional navy and green of a Fair Isle pattern, giving the whole thing a warmer, earthier feel than the palette usually allows. The repeating band structure keeps it properly rhythmic across the body, with each row picking up slightly different motifs within the same colourway.
