Provenance notes:

This is an authentic Italian football shirt manufactured by Ennerre (NR) in the early 1980s.

• Features the Tortora Surgelati sponsor print and the number 16 in stitched felt on reverse.

• Constructed in the heavy acrylic knit typical of Ennerre’s match-issue shirts, with ribbed cuffs and collared v-neck design.

• During this period, Ennerre produced shirts almost exclusively for professional clubs, with replicas being extremely scarce. This, combined with the sponsor and stitched number, indicates the shirt was match-issued, and quite possibly match worn.

• Exact club attribution is currently uncertain, but the colours suggest it belonged to a provincial Italian team (Serie B or C), rather than AC Milan (who had different sponsors at the time).
