Description:

Item: 1990s M65 field jacket in three-colour desert camouflage, Saudi-issued. Cut in the standard M65 format with zip and snap storm front, fold-away hood, epaulettes, and four large snap-flap cargo pockets. Velcro patch panels to both chest pockets for name and rank insignia.

Provenance Note: The three-colour desert DCU pattern was rushed into production for Operation Desert Storm in 1990-91, and Saudi-issued examples represent the earliest and most directly conflict-associated examples of this camouflage in the M65 shell. The velcro chest panels in place of the standard snap pockets are a distinguishing feature of the Saudi-contract specification. A genuinely conflict-era piece in a pattern that has become one of the most recognisable camouflages of the late twentieth century.
