Provenance Note: Turtle Bay is a resort and beach area on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, and souvenir tees from there have a devoted following among collectors of American holiday and beach graphic shirts. The fish graphic here is a strong example of the early nineties resort print style — bold, layered colour blocking with a painterly, almost batik-like texture to the background. A vivid, well-printed piece.
